Who Can Join?
Membership requirements are few, but firm. To become a member of the Fraternity you must meet certain standards to qualify.
You must be a man of 18 years of age or older
You must believe in the existence of a Supreme Deity
You must be of good moral character
You must permanently reside in the State of Colorado
What we look for in a potential member is a man with a strong moral and ethical character who is seeking a place with other like-minded men to better himself, his family and the world at large.
How to become a Member
To begin the process simply complete the form below or contact your local Lodge. The process for membership within Colorado requires you attend the public functions of the chosen Lodge for a period of 6 months or be known by 2 members of the Lodge, prior to making a request for a petition. This gives the members time to get to know you, as well as for you to decide if Freemasonry is right for you.
How to Choose a Lodge?
Colorado has Lodges spread across the State. Each with it’s own culture and areas of focus, which can also be said about each member of a Lodge. If you choose to pursue membership in the fraternity, you should visit the various Lodges in your area, and select the one that is most inline with your interests.

How much Time does it take to be a member?
You are encourage to attend the regular Lodge meetings once becoming a member, which typically are 2 times per month in the evenings. Some Lodges hold other events as well. Like most things in Life you will only get out of Masonry, What you put into it.
What does it cost to be a member?
The costs of membership are low. There are initiation fees and annual dues, which are set by the individual Lodges. Make sure to inquire during your discussions.
Is there a family component to the Fraternity?
Masonry is committed to Families and most Lodges do hold open events where families are encouraged to join. The regular Masonic meetings are only open to Masons. The are also appendant organizations to Freemasonry for Ladies and Youths. Check out “Masonic Family” for more details.
